About Us

Crafting Timeless Treasures for Your Home

Abigail's Room is a UK-based small independent online store established in 2005, specializing in the sale of vintage and handmade items. Over the years, we have expanded our offerings by acquiring new artisan and craft skills, with our latest addition being leatherwork using sustainable and recycled materials. Our focus at Abigail's Room is to provide customers with vintage and handmade pieces that capture a classic essence with a modern twist. Our dedication to artisan country living is evident in every item we curate, allowing customers to personalize their homes with items that reflect their individual style and personality.

The Name Abigail's Room

Welcome to Abigail's Room! The name actually came from a chat with my niece Abigail, who used to dream of having her own store selling handmade bags (she's into hats now, though). Abigail is the oldest of four sisters, and her siblings would always sneak into her room to "borrow" things when she was out. It reminded me of my own childhood, raiding my sister's room for new things to try on or play with (I was pretty good at putting them back where they belonged, until I got older and less careful). The eldest sibling always seemed to have the coolest stuff, thanks to their first job and newfound financial freedom to buy unique and beautiful items from small shops. At Abigail's Room, we're on a mission to bring back that feeling of discovering something special that you won't find in big stores or online marketplaces. It's all about finding those little treasures as adults. Oh, and Abigail has officially given me the green light (in writing) to use her name. Cheers, Abbie!
